    Sitex Galore – Gadgets FTW!

    P1040107

    P1040097

And we were at Sitex for a spin-and-look, where we have to say, gadgets weren’t the only thing on the horizon.

    P1040101

    P1040114 P1040116

From household brands, to novel device-churners, we have to say, we love it all except the crowd.

    P1040110

    P1040111

Although crowds are a welcoming sight, especially with 2009 being a belt-tightening year. Still, money-well spent and quality goods do go hand in hand.

And So my Dear…Time Rolls on

Had a dream yesterday, that involved the world collapsing (Armageddon's arrival) and the fact that L is so far away in Melb…The fear that grips when your loved one is so far away becomes almost unbearable.

Awoke with a start and well… perhaps time might whisk past faster. Hopefully. Soon. I’ll be there. As you’ll be.

    L’s MSN MSG:
    “Movie time!
    at least today
    then tom, back to hell
let me forget my troubles, if only for a moment
let time passes, and forget my shadow
let me lie hidden in a spot, quiet, unmoving
till the date, u awaken me with ur gentle kiss
a soothing voice, ur soft touch...
a stink, none other, than M's fart!
    =)
    IM A TIANCAI
my words are like poetry in motion,
i spin them easily, as one breathes
    love u, nrn”

------> Note to self. For every quirkiness he spins, he negates it. Must. Try. To stab him with his bokken (Japanese sword). LOLS. Still… I don’t really think he’s quite the poet. Or is he? Humor at others’ expense. Painful perhaps.

    ENJOY!

    SELK Cloth-a-Bag…Wear one!

What I would do to have this as a monkey suit. Think Monkey L would love prancing around in this! lols.

As cosy as sleeping bags are, nowadays they're designed so that you often feel like you're being buried alive. Lovely to be so warm, not so lovely to feel quite so incapacitated. Introducing the most revolutionary, and definitely the coolest (though very warm of course) sleeping bag ever invented. The SELK is the sleeping bag you wear, so if it's still freezing outside (or inside if the heating's packed in) when you get up, you don't need to get out of your sleeping bag! The Selk will keep you toasty in chilly climes withstanding minus temperatures and with a comfort temperature of 5.5 degrees C. It has an integral hood, and you can unzip the ends of your arms to get your mitts out to spark up the primus on Everest - or pop some bread in the toaster if your flat's dropped below a civilized temperature. The suit lining is made from soft-touch nylon, is padded with a Polyester Hollow Fibre Bonded filling, and comes in four colours and two sizes, small-medium, and large - extra-large. The SELK makes winter something to look forward to, and of course, it's the ultimate answer in how to be cool when you're warm.

    Features
    • A wearable, yes wearable, sleeping bag.
    • Put this snugly suit on like you would an all in one ski suit and zip yourself up.
    • An integral hood to keep your bonce toasty warm.
    • Have full movement of all your limbs so you can wander around in your Selk.
    • As tested by the European EN 13537 standard the sleeping bag can withstand a temperature as low as -8.4 degrees Celcius - chilly!
    • The suit lining is made from soft touch nylon.
    • The suit is padded with Polyester Hollow Fibre Bonded filling.
    • Machine washable at 30 degrees.
    • Choose from Army Green, Yellow, Brown or Red in colour.
    • Suitable for ages 16 years+.
    • Weight: 1.68kg (S/M) or 1.97kg (L/XL).
    • Available in Small-Medium (ideal for heights of around 1.80m) or Large-Extra Large (ideal for heights of 2m).

Poptastic! For those who love to ‘Pop’

    Poptastic

Sometimes…You just need to destress. Something I SO need at the moment…

There are some things in life that you just can't stop yourself from doing, and popping the bubbles on a sheet of bubble wrap is most definitely one of them. We reckon it's nigh on impossible to pass even the smallest scrap of bubble wrap and not want to grab it and squeeze those little bubbles until the make that deeply satisfying 'POP' noise. This compelling, if not addictive, pastime used to be restricted to when you moved house, or someone sensible sent you something in the post. Now fortunately someone with way too much time on their hands, and who obviously wasn't busy designing the new space probe, has come up with an electronic version that fits on your key ring. It's the bubble wrap that never runs out of bubble. Every time you press one of the electronic bubbles, it makes a satisfying popping noise. We've tested several and this one was our winner. Bloody ridiculous, but just you try putting it down.

    Features
    • 7 compelling, utterly addictive buttons to 'pop'.
    • The buttons don't disintegrate after the first pop like traditional bubble wrap, they go on and on and...
    • With each push of the buttons, a popping sound is activated.
    • On about the 200th 'pop' the 'pop' becomes a ridiculously random sound like an alarm beep.
    • Suitable for ages 8 years+.
    • Requires a LR41 battery (included).
    • Size: 4 x 1.5cm.

Shooting Shots- Utterly Random w/ Nikon D60

    DSC_0001 DSC_0002

In the office, random shots with the Nikon D60…really considering this baby which costs $1118 RRP.

    DSC_0006

Shots are relatively true to colour, note the gold hue of the card, still looks gold… at least visually. The purple does seem a tad too dark though.

    DSC_0107 DSC_0112

Yet, for macro and normal shots, being an amateur shoot-and-snap dSLR user…

    DSC_0114 DSC_0115

I think this pretty much makes up for everything i wanna snap, especially with its basic lens, this unit does make a pretty sweet deal on the money…

    Archos 5 Internet Tablet

    60GB-$639/ 120GB- $699, www.memoryworld.com.sg

Archos has finally taken the lid off its yet another do-it-all media churner that perhaps makes one coffee whilst we surf and browse through our catalogues of videos and music files.

    T3: 5 stars

Love: Its massive 120GB memory, gorgeous chrome design

Hate: Having to register first before you get to enter…

We say: Not a bad purchase if you’re a video hoarder like us, although its many ‘optional’ buys like widgets and applications should be added within its price.

    Type: Portable Media Player (PMP)

    Bringing on the Surname…

Things your surname might assimilate with… This is a first though.
