    Will you blend?

Will it blend.com....that's just a weird waste of good gadgetry.
Still, if they like it. What the heck, it's their call.

    PSP VS DS LITE

    Alrite....
puzzling combi, but the game structures are so varsely different.
    as it is,
we all know it's a definite no-no to have these modified, which of course we don't promote. Still,
if you know friends who do mods, it might be a worthwhile exploration?
Why because PSP is coming up with the newest V-series, rather software that help you watch tv, and do all the what nots,
that...you could already have accessed if it were modified (theoretically speaking)...

In fact, if, a PSP is modified to say, 3.52, not only are the latest games in the series applicable and playable, you get an unlimited supply of games; from emulators to homebrew.
For instance, you would be able to play GBA, GBC, Nintendo Genesis, Sega Masters, and...PSX aka PS1 games.
That's a whole lot of ROMS for you to go through, and honestly, new games might become redundant.

However, for legal software advocates, it would be good to check out demos online. You get to download games, that have just been released, which are only a mere 7-10mb, all playable on your console. However, before you get too delighted, there's a catch (as always, duh), these games function like loops. They repeat. Repeat and repeat. Still, you get to try them out, which is sweet enough, before you decide to invest and sink your money into a UMD which costs as much as 79 bucks a pop.

As for DS Lite, it's the prettier version of the DS (which is our grey console that everyone knows...), smaller and lighter. Still, its probably a hot favourite amongst girls, due to its touchscreen. For me, it's more of the ability to be creative, where you get those cutesy games that want you to participate and "help out" with quests by tap-tapping on the screen. Cute, and definitely addictive. Hooked onto Phoenix Wright now...which is kind of like a lawyer-wannabe, linguistic bashing, evidence point-out-and-accuse game.

    Fun Fun Fun.

For those people who have modified, you get DSLinux, which can possibly be installed, where a hot favourite program would be DSorganize. Kind of like a cheap form of a PDA. You get a calender, organizer, and what nots all there. Even, convert your DS Lite into a mini UMPC, but you got to get the WiFi right, where naturally it doesn't come predisposed to getting it right. Why? Because the DS was meant for interactive play with your Wii and friends. A sweet play still. Try Tamagotchi Connexion with your friends and you'll see what repetitive movement means.

Think Diner Dash, just with more creativity. You get to draw and interact. ^-^ and give presents to friends irl.

    Interview w Ix Shen...

     BUT ...

He’s one of Caldecott Hill’s veteran actors and since his shot to fame, Ix Shen has been kept busy with his involvement in the media and entertainment scene, as well as supporting a cause, close to heart – the local Sports Council.

Definitely a friendly face that’s recognizable at a glance, we managed to catch up with Ix Shen, for a cosy chat about his work, and life in general. We did find out that our rather reserved hunk who enjoys a good workout also like his gadgets...

Hi Ix, thanks for taking time out of your ever busy schedule to join us at T3! Mind sharing with our readers what exactly keeps you on your feet these days?Well. I've been rather busy with an upcoming cop-and-robber drama, where before this, I was filming the Pride and Honor series. I've also started my own exercise studio, so it has been a rather busy period for me.

It seems...that you're not only sporty and fit, but can whip up a nice batch of cookies?
Ha...who told you that? But yes, I do enjoy spending time in the kitchen, although that hasn't happened for a while since I've moved.

I see. As an active sportsman, you've done quite a bit for our local sports community in terms of raising awareness locally, would you care to elaborate?
Personally, I've been involved in the sporting scene long before I took on acting as a career, so it's only natural for me to do as much as I can, to support this healthy living campaign.

Sporting events similar to the Adventure Race that commenced in June? We heard the turn-out was around 300 people strong!
That's about right. In fact, I was invited as an ambassador to bring across the message, as well as to actively participate in the event. It was of course, mostly fun, than work to me.

We've seen your involvement in reel life and on-stage, and we know you've got a packed schedule. How do you manage your time? Is there a laptop/smartphone organizing it, or...a particular lady in your life?
Yeah, it's really packed, but when you've a passion for something, it never seems too tough. In fact, just like in theatre, with a live audience where feedback is immediate, it just makes performing more enjoyable. As for managing...Currently, there isn't a lady (chuckles) but I've got my hp PDA that keeps me on track. But, I do still use the conventional pen and paper, just as a backup plan.

That's what it should be. I'm a compulsive backup-backup-backup person! Ah...And do you like games, the non-outdoor type of activities?
Eh. I would have to say no. (pauses) I quit playing games about 9 years back, especially when I got a little too busy.

So what kind of games did you play in the past?I used to play Warcraft, and yes. It was addictive. Even until today, my friends who still game, talk about their strategies and gameplay, all the time.

Ha. Been there during my WOW(World of Warcraft) days... Turning to tech – What was the very first gadget you ever owned?
My very first gadget...that would probably be my numeric pager when I was in Secondary school. Those were fun times where you had to manually key numbers in, one after another.

Pagers. Haven't seen one of those in ages. Now, for our star question! Do you like your gadgets simple or complicated? For e.g just for basic phone calls, or complete with an MP3 player and camera function?
Depends really. I like them both, basic gadgets when I'm in Singapore and more complex ones, overseas. When I'm abroad, I like to bring along my GPRS, laptop, PDA and camera.

I see. So what gadget can cause withdrawal syndromes and a “I am doomed” effect when you're without it?(Laughs) I could probably could do without my mobile for a few days, or weeks on end. But, maybe I couldn't live without my laptop.

Ah. Would that be a Mac?
Nope, a HP laptop. I do like the Mac's design, but functionality-wise, certain softwares might have compatibility issues on a Mac and that would be a big problem to me.

Finally, now that we've heard much hype about the iPhone, what are your thoughts on it? Loveable or a fluke?I actually respect the people behind the iPhone. The phone seemed to have been built with the user's experience in mind, centered around what people want.

People-centric design, eh. That's great news for the people at Apple. It was a great pleasure meeting you, and we're glad that you like your gadgets.

    hacking the call of gaming

Who said, that the allure of gaming was simply in the desire to win?
Most guys engage in games (might sound a little assumptious) that are in the end, a WIN-WIN showdown kind of format.
Hence, the evolution of gaming leagues and what nots.

In my case, I like my games a little simpler...

if need be, that's where walkthroughs and boyfriends come in, more of a contribution point to our lack of "expertise". It's just this lack of hand-eye coordination, i've got going on.
Just doesn't help it that, somehow, when i want my toon to run forward, he reverses. Or when i want him to jump, he misses the target and chooses to embark on a suicide mission.

Still, maybe hardcore gaming isn't for the chicks, at least not all except for our gamer chicks who so gracefully parade what they are good at, which is of course gaming-related! (what are you thinking!)
Been delving into consoles and whatnots, which i'm usually not a big fan of. But still, a few games got me going, and my current favourite would be wario ware. Which, despite the fact that it ain't in our office anymore (our Wii has gone Weeee and moved over to the conference area), I still wana play it. Bad.

Wishlist at the moment seems crazy, and it scares me...that i'm going to be wickedly broke.

    Wanted!:

    - A PDA/ smartphone - probably nokia or SE. If a PDA probably a HTC or HP.
    - A Wii - because its fun! and because MY Sims and Sims castaway is comingggggg soon...
    - A 5MP camera with mega zoom - saw a particular fuji film one that had a smashing18x optical zoom.
    - DS Lite - to play cooking mama and of cos my SIMs!
-PSP - because the games are fun, and i'm always not at home anyway.
    - PS2 - to play old favourites and new ones, that are like FUNTASTIC.
    eg. Katamari...
    - A puppy...because i need some company and i think dad would love one.
     I"M A DOG! RAWHHHHHH

    Pets and Stuff...

We know we love our cats and dogs...but sometimes they get left behind.

We hope...maybe love is what we need...
where animals are not just pets,
    but part of our family...

Hopefully its just me being cynically paranoid,

But do these happy treefriends and Famous Celebs designs look a tad bit dubious to you?
